Take a clear position, either in favor of the government involvement or against the government involvement be clear as to what type of government involvement you are referring I chose regulation, use your normative and positive statements, express a clear opinion, and use facts and research to back up your opinions, make sure you answer the questions of why, what, and how: what you favor or oppose, why you favor or oppose, how your decision will benefit the economy or society as a whole, how your decision will impact the businesses operating in that industry and the consumers.  when researching, document where you obtained any facts and figures, websites, books, etc. example if you are using a CNN article be sure to credit CNN and the date of the article.
